Bryan Donahue

Bryan Keith Donahue, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026 at his home with family at his side. Bryan was one of three beloved sons, the youngest born Jan. 11, 1980 to Leo and Barbara Donahue. He was joyfully met in Heaven by those who preceded him in death including his father, Leo; grandparents: John and Vena Donahue and Hillard and Joe Harmon; aunt, Melva Harmon and uncle, G.P. Harmon. Bryan was a lifetime resident of Terrell and was a proud 1997 graduate of THS. At an early age, he worked for Peddler’s Pizza in Terrell where he truly found his calling in making sure every customer was taken care of along with consolidating daily operations. During his tenure there, Bryan was an integral part of every aspect of the business and he worked there until the owner retired. Never one to stay idle, Bryan then began helping his mother, Barbara, with her own catering business and then also when she opened her restaurant, Blessings on Brin. Once again, his aptitude and skills for excellent customer service and attention to the daily details of running a restaurant became indispensable to his mom. All his life, Bryan had an artistic spirit. He was an accomplished drummer and he had a band, the Spook City All Stars, but he also ‘filled in’ for other drummers and joined many a jam session, having a great time while also displaying his incredible talent. His creativity wasn’t limited to just music as Bryan also had an eye for creating art with painting as well as other many different media. His ability for capturing any and all unique scenes of life were well known by his family and friends and he was always able to share his unique view of scenery and objects. He leaves his memory to be lovingly cherished by his mother, Barbara Donahue; brothers: Jimmy Donahue and wife, Gina, and David Donahue; nieces, Presley and Abigail Donahue; aunts: Nell Scarborough and husband, Don, and Sarah Harmon as well as other extended family members and many friends. A celebration of Bryan’s life and legacy will be at 12:00pm, Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Reflections Venue at Max Slayton Funerals with his family receiving friends beginning at 11:00am to service time.
